Dan always got in his own way. Dan character had a great storyline. It showed you can change, you cannot dwell in the past, and it takes more than one thing brings happiness. It also taught a painful lesson, and that is, you can change but that does not guarantee redemption with those you hurt.

I was liking how Dan actually thought Karen would be upset that he signed the papers for his son to need surgery and get recovered and then she hugs him and he is like taken back and he actually appreciated that!!!
